With formative experience at two major New York City advertising agencies followed by senior media sales leadership roles in one of the world’s most competitive markets, Vanessa has built a career defined by innovation, revenue growth, and industry transformation.

She has led multiple category “firsts,” including launching ad-supported business models, building inaugural in-house international sales teams, and creating breakthrough multi-platform and branded content partnerships with global brands. Most recently as SVP, Media Sales & Marketing Solutions at Cineplex, Vanessa was recruited to modernize the business and effect cultural change—driving post-COVID revenue recovery ahead of attendance, co-creating the world’s first in-theatre partnership with TikTok, pioneering interactive mobile-to-screen advertising experiences, leading Canada’s first cinema attention study, and establishing the first accredited mall-based cinema measurement methodology.

Over the past decade in Canada, she has consistently brought a global, innovation-led mindset to help companies unlock new revenue streams, elevate accountability and measurement, nurture high-performing teams, and re-energize legacy brands—serving as a connector, champion, and trusted ambassador for the industries she represents.
